Lizzie Bentley is an oil painter and printmaker based in Stratford-upon-Avon, UK. She studied Fine Art at Oxford University (Ruskin School of Art) and has over 20 years of experience, including working as a digital matte painter and concept artist for the film and TV industry (with credits like Game of Thrones). Lizzie regularly exhibits her work and is available for commissions and contract work for designers.

Printmaking

I create bespoke prints and illustrations for individuals and designers. With over 20 years of experience in digital matte painting and concept art, I work in both traditional and digital mediums to produce high-quality art prints. All prints are produced on heavyweight fine art paper. I offer limited edition runs (each print hand-signed and numbered). An A3 size print is typically £95. Concept Art

In addition to traditional art, I have worked as a concept artist and digital matte painter for film and television for two decades. My concept art portfolio includes projects such as the Merlin TV series (2014), the film Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016), and Netflix's The Sandman series (2022), among others. These works involve creating imaginative environments and scenes that appear on screen. Please see some examples of my concept artwork above.

News & Updates

• 2025: Hosting new painting and drawing workshops at the National Trust's Upton House (Banbury) and Stratford's Brook Arts Hub. Contact for booking details.
• 2024: Commissioned to design a large-scale mural for Sherborne House (Cheltenham) and completed an on-site painting project (12 panels) for Lainston House (Hampshire).
• 2024: Collaborated with Ansty Hall (Warwickshire) to provide local landscape artworks and a series of bespoke prints on the theme of weaving for their interior refurbishment.
• 2024: Won the Local Artist Prize at the Broadway Arts Festival.
